Feasting on Art

Today we’re feasting on art, or should I say, food inspired by art. This week I’ve been doing a lot of research for my new art courses and I’m L-O-V-E with the work of Wayne Thiebaud. His thick application of paint and tasty looking subjects are making my mouth water!

In the midst of drooling all over Thiebaud’s work, I stumbled upon Caitlin Williams Freeman, baker at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Freeman, is a baking genius; taking art we know and love (including Thiebaud’s) and turning it into a tasty treat to enjoy during your time at the museum.

Don’t you wish we could just jet out to SF for a slice of cake at the museum? I know I do!
